Online class – assemblage/shrine project

Flash sale! use code 15SHRINE. Good til   So I have another online class that just launched and it’s about creating a shrine using collected and curated items. It’s easy to get inundated by the unique things we collect and how to use them, but I have created a little formula to refer to when making such a mixed-media piece. how i spend my time creating art

I get this question or statement a lot about how prolific I am when it comes to making art. So I thought I would discuss how I spend my time creating art. I think, first of all, it is important to know that I don’t work a full-time job outside of the home.  I am a full-time caregiver along with my husband, and we take care of our son, Tucker, who needs 100% care. Before the coronavirus, we had a caregiver who would come and help us. During those times, I would go to my rental studio and work. Sew, …

I started looking at websites that I liked and that’s how I found Noelle. Anyway, through the course of working together, she mentioned to me about taking photographs of my art in a better way to really showcase the art. I use to try and do …

“Hope and Imagine” a fundraiser for MOGO after Australian fires

My good friend, Seth Apter and I decided to organize a fundraiser in order to support Mobilising for Mogo , after our friend Sallianne McClelland shared with us how the Mogo Local Aboriginal Land Council was destroyed with the fire also destroying the art gallery. So far we have sold half of the tickets in this special fundraiser and to date have raised AUD2300 that is going directly to help the artists get back on their feet. There is no middle man in this fundraiser with donations going directly into the MLALC bank account. Please share and support this …
